19/8/07- The View on Hiatus |

Many people have been asking me "whats the deal with the view?" and its time i came clean and faced the facts. At this current stage, i can no longer run the View. A sharp decline in
vistors and a sharp incline of other responsibilities has seen me not even update for a month. I've been holding off making this step for a long time, and i've often mouthed off about the "myspace generation," but I too
now have made that step of creating my own myspace. It was a sad day for an old HTML guru like myself but unfortunetly i was left no choice. We must move with the times or be left behind.

for the moment i've been working in the shadows at a website www.trucktalk.com.au . At the moment all my work is behind the scenes
but may become more prevelant in the future. This is the main reason the View is on hiatus, but i see this as a great opportunity and career change. To be working at a major website where HTML still rules. And that gets
more hits in a week that i've gotten in 6 years... Signing off. |

Its been 3 weeks since the last official update, and the fans are banging down my door (and inbox) screaming for
more, so i thought i best come on here and put together an explanation as to whats going on.
The View is not dead, however recently my focus has been elsewhere as i explore some other business deals. I've been
approached by a media outlet to further my journalistic career, and am currently in negotiations and trying to settle on a contract. This is not another "I'm selling out to Japanese investors" bullsh!t story
that the Joint would try to spin, this is serious stuff. I wish i could reveal more, because you, the View faithful deserve to know. But you will in time. If it goes ahead you will be informed. If it doesn't, i will be
back to control the View once more and rule the bandwagon.
In the meantime, please use the forum. There has been a bit of activity there of late which i hope can continue, i like nothing more than conversing and
arguing with the fans in that format.
Hopefully in the next week i will reveal some big news about the View sponsored Dodgeball team, Liqourlotas too. |

It has been discovered that former A2 cricket opening batsman Matthew Goebel is drawing up plans to invade the
casinos of Las Vegas. Matty is often seen, every night of the week, slumped back in a chair at local poker tournaments all over Toowoomba, waiting for a break to arrive or for him to get out so he can once again feed
his hard earned through the pokies. Step one of his plan came last week, when Matty turned 21, which means he is now old enough to gain entry into gambling establishments in the US. Step two is under way now, feeding
more cash into pokies and waiting for his big break on the professional poker circuit to fund his airfares.Happy 21st Matty. |
